Fort Worth Area Information

Fort Worth is a favorite, y'all. 2010 will mark the third time the EPICS User Conference has been held in this historic city and it remains the most highly requested repeat Conference site among attendees. Perhaps this is because the downtown area has so much to offer. The Embassy Suites Hotel is located in Sundance Sqaure where you will find restaurants, shopping, night spots, cinema, theater and concerts all within a very short walk.
Next door to the Embassy Suites Hotel you will find the Bass Performance Hall where, on Tuesday evening, you can catch John Williams conducting the performance of several of his memorable film scores.
If you feel like hopping a taxi or braving a city bus, world-class museums are just a short ride away. The Kimbell Art Museum, Amon Carter Museum and the Museum of Science and History are all well worth the trip.
Want something a bit more rustic? Visit the world's largest honky tonk at Billy Bob's and the historic Stock Yards where you will find great eating, shopping and indoor rodeo. Don't be suprised if you come across a real cowboy or two.
If you like walking on the wild side, check out one of the nation's premier zoological parks at the Fort Worth Zoo. If you like zoos, you will not want to miss this one.

The special conference event this year will be a tour of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. You do not have to be a Cowboys fan, or even a football fan, to appreciate this colossal new structure featuring extrusions produced by EPICS users!
